The alexandrite laser (755 nm) is ideal for lighter skin types (Fitzpatrick skin types I-IV) and dark blonde to dark hair. Its special wavelength precisely targets the melanin in the hair follicles, which enables fast and reliable results - even on finer dark hair. The alexandrite laser is suitable for both smaller and larger areas of skin and enables efficient, painless treatment.

The ND:YAG laser (1064 nm), on the other hand, penetrates deeper into the skin and is therefore particularly safe and effective for darker to very dark skin types (Fitzpatrick skin types V-VI). This wavelength reaches the hair follicles of these dark skin types without affecting the surrounding skin tissue. The ND:YAG laser is therefore the only laser that enables safe treatment success for these skin types.

For hair that contains little or no melanin - such as very light, gray or red hair - needle epilation offers an effective solution for permanent hair removal. In contrast to laser treatments, which work via the pigmentation of the hair, needle epilation works independently of the hair color. With this method, a fine needle is inserted precisely into the hair canal to destroy the hair follicle with a targeted energy impulse. This is why needle epilation is often referred to as electro-epilation.

One Tec®, with the RWS procedure, can provide you with safe and effective treatments with minimal tissue damage. The RWS procedure is based on specially modulated, multi-frequency energy pulses. The power output in terms of pulse strength and pulse duration is precisely controlled by microprocessors.
